I don't know how many ways to say "rot in hell" to Wells, Peirson, and that whole board!

"Apologize or I'll sell the station" Neither one of these people should be allowed near public money (or St Louis) again.

Secret meeting sought to save KDHX

At a clandestine meeting facilitated by former St. Louis mayor Vince Schoemehl on March 16, three local businessmen offered to put up the money to be an alternative lender for KDHX, the embattled community radio station now in bankruptcy court.

Jon Parker (of Parker's Table), Steven Fitzpatrick Smith (of The Royale), and developer Jason Deem say they believed they had a handshake deal with station leadership to swap themselves in as what's called a lender in possession. They believed that step was key to stopping the station from selling its broadcast license to Christian radio behemoth K-LOVE.

Station leaders, however, were more focused on getting apologies from Smith and Parker, whom they blamed for turning the business community against KDHX. Ultimately, board president Gary Pierson told Deem that KDHX could not deal with Parker and Smith—and while Deem said he could put together the funding without either being involved, Pierson soon informed him it was too late.

LETTERS TO GLADIATOR CONSULTING AND THEIR CLIENTS

I feel a share of the responsibility of KDHX failure lies squarely at your feet. She hired you as a business consultant, and the station promptly began to fall apart, and now is bankrupt.

How much public money was paid to you by Kelly Wells? (It is rumoured she spent hundreds of thousands of dollars in consulting fees.)

What did she get in return?

What sort of advice did you offer her?

Did Gladiator, in fact, write the famous phrase "Operationalize these commitments"

What, if anything are you doing to repair the damage you did and take responsibility for your part in this?

What are you doing to stop the sale of KDHX to LOVE?

You advertise that KDHX was one of your clients, so you must be proud of the work you do, despite the fact that after they began an association with you they destroyed the station. I think the public and your other clients deserves a public response, including an appeal to the judge for station control to be returned to the community and a new board.

If I don't hear back, or don't hear something positive, I am going to contact their clients next.

PRISON IS TOO GOOD FOR WELLS AND THE BOARD

If you haven't been following, there is NO NEED for this sale to Christian Broadcaster to go through. KDHX LOVE has raised enough money to make the station solvent. All it would require is the psychopathic narcissists that bankrupted the station to step aside.

BUT THEN THEY WOULDN'T GET $4 MILLION FOR IT AND BE ABLE TO GIVE THEMSELVES A PAYOUT FOR RUINING THE STATION!

None of the people pictured below should ever be allowed near public money again. Not any of these people or any of the consultants at Gladiator, and other marketing firms, that took hundreds of thousands in consulting fees to write garbage like "operationalize these commitments."

St. Louis has one really great skill, and that is ostracizing (legally, non-violently, but very effectively) people that have done it wrong, and I do hope the city will make sure none of these folks get play again.
